Stop Bleeding in Seconds with VETIGEL
VETIGEL gives veterinarians greater control, speed, and confidence in achieving hemostasis.
Why Equine Veterinarians Choose VETIGEL
Rapid Hemostasis: Stops bleeding in seconds when applied with gentle pressure.
Versatile Application: Works effectively across a range of equine procedures including lacerations, enucleations, castrations, and foot surgeries.
Easy to Use: Apply directly from syringe or via sterile gauze for even coverage. VETIGEL is designed to stay in place and can be sutured or bandaged over.

VETIGEL Equine Application Guidelines
- Use suture ligation or vessel twisting when possible, alongside VETIGEL.
- Reduce bleeding before application via direct pressure, tissue tension, cold, vasoconstrictors, or a tourniquet.
- Clear pooled blood and clots to ensure VETIGEL contacts bleeding tissue directly.
- Apply VETIGEL at a thickness of at least 1 cm. More gel generally improves performance.
- Syringe application is preferred, especially when bleeding is focal and can be slowed temporarily.
- If using gauze, apply more VETIGEL to offset absorption. Gauze helps with spread and pressure.
- Do not remove VETIGEL after hemostasis. It can be bandaged or sutured over directly.
